Life’s been busy but I feel I have to add a new post regarding TalkTalk email. To put it politely, TalkTalk email is pretty rubbish. There are constant problems, far too many to go into detail about now, but I shall explain briefly.
Email Loading And Other Issues
First of all there’s that issue of actually trying to login to read your emails. Sometimes there is a message saying that I have entered in invalid login details when I know I haven’t. So I try to log in again and the same message appears. I know my details are correct so I just have to keep clicking login until eventually it lets me log in.
Then sometimes when I do get logged in to the TalkTalk email there is a little message that says my email messages are loading and this little spinning icon in the place of where the email messages should appear, letting you know something at least appears to be happening. This loading can last for minutes at a time. Sometimes after waiting I get a message saying that the email couldn’t connect to the server and I should contact my administrator. That is really just nonsense because who is the administrator? Basically you just have to log out and try again.
Even when my inbox does load up, eventually, sometimes I click on an email to open it and again I get the spinning icon while waiting for the message to open. Sometimes it will, sometimes it wont. Sometimes when trying to delete an email message it just won’t do it, or it can just take a while after clicking delete until it actually is deleted, while you sit their and stew.
TalkTalk Email And Other Services
These are just a few of the issues with TalkTalk email. I could go into a lot more detail but if you just search Google or whatever search engine you use for phrases such as TalkTalk down or TalkTalk reviews you will certainly get an idea of the frustrations people have with TalkTalk products, and please for the love of God, DO NOT use TalkTalk email for your business. Trust me, it will cost you money, even if it’s just from the amount of time wasted trying to get to your emails in the first place.
I have to say however that I have had broadband with Talk Talk for at least 5 years. The only problem I have had with TalkTalk broadband was when I first signed up and they sent me there welcome pack with their router. The router turned out to be rubbish as I just couldn’t connect to the Internet. I spoke to TalkTalk, or at least their people in India, and eventually they sent me a replacement router which was exactly the same model as the one they had already sent me and I still couldn’t connect to the Internet. Eventually I bought another router myself and the problem was instantly solved.
So basically my problem with TalkTalk is just their email. Having said that I don’t have any TV or suchlike packages with TalkTalk, I literally just have the broadband and phone line with them.
To get a better idea of the kind of problems you can have with TalkTalk email you can watch the below video of myself trying to login.
Fixing TalkTalks Email Service
The reason I recorded the video and wrote this post was simply because the TalkTalk email issue has been going on for well over a year now, and possibly more than 2. It’s not as if the issue is unknown. TalkTalk certainly know about it but they still don’t seem to be able to do anything to fix it and quite frankly it’s about time they did. Hopefully if more people and potential customers are brought to the attention of TalkTalks appalling email service they might actually do something to fix it, once and for all.
